** Please Note - LIMIT of 2 Entries** See Rules Tab for additional challenge details

We had some fantastic entries last week, and thank you to all that joined us.

This week we are sponsored by

I thought this little girl and her bunny by Rick St. Dennis was adorable.  I picked it out around Easter so she has her basket of colored eggs.  I used my Copic markers, cut her out and popped her off the background paper.  I placed her on a scalloped edge Nestibility and the paper is DCWV.  The butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch.  The gray paper is from the Pinwheel 6X6 collection from LillyBee.  LillyBee is my current fave papers!

Color Challenge Is Up!

Good morning, all.  The Color Challenge is up and running at The Outlawz!  Guylou chose the color palette this week and it was a challenge for me.  It was hard not to do a Christmas theme, but it's not July yet!  I love House Mouse stamps and had to make a birthday card for my BIL who is a musician.

I used my oval cutter from Creative Memories for the shape and left the top intact.  The little roses I have had for quite some time.  I have them in several colors and enjoy using them on projects.  I have a small Martha leaf punch that I used for my leaves and three Recollections gems.  My sentiment is hand done.

I want to thank Redonkulous Designs for sponsoring our challenges this month.  Please go and check them out as they are awesome!

Thanks for looking and I hope you will play in the challenge at The Outlawz and the current challenge, "Anything Goes" at Through The Craftroom Door"!

I'm a little late with my post this week, but my 81 year old Mom has broken a rib!  I, along with my three sisters, have been taking care of her and taking turns spending the night.  It is always tough to break anything, but at her age it can be quite dangerous health-wise.

At The Outlawz, Tuesday is always Color Challenge day.  Penny has come up with a fun color palette and challenge.  The color palette is below along with the "Twist", which is an awesome one for me!  My daughter, Elizabeth, is having a baby girl in October.  We are so excited.  She has already blessed us with a wonderful grandson that turned four in March.

When little "Lucy" gets here, I am going to put pictures in here for a Great-Grandmother's brag book for Mom.  The stamps are from Recollections Baby Collection and I used my Copic markers.  The papers are quite old and from some Daisy D's individual sheets I bought at Michael's, many moons ago!  The little hand and foot I got at Elizabeth's shower for Dean and I held onto them, and the little "Name, Date and Weight" square is from LillyBee.  I love her stuff!
Don't forget our fabulous sponsor for this month:

Over at Through the Crafroom door there is another fun challenge and it is "Anything Goes".  That gives you total creative freedom to make something FABULOUS!  Don't forget to check out the terrific sponsors and prizes that are up for grabs!

New Challenges

Good morning, friends!  Today there are two fun challenges.  One at The Outlawz and one at Through The Craftroom Door.

Today at The Outlawz Color Challenge, Ina picked our beautiful color palette from this beautiful inspiration photo.

Ina is challenging us to use at least three layers.

I used papers from Bo Bunny's "et cetera" collection and DCWV "Garden Party's" Premium Stack.  I used an oval Spellbinder's die, Recollections flower, small stamp from Stampin' Up, ecru cardstock, and rose chalk ink from Color Box.

TTCRD Challenge

The challenge is "ANYTHING GOES" and runs through June 17th.

I used my Copic Markers to color the gorgeous "A Day for Daisies" image and made this card for my boss to give his wife for their 25th wedding anniversary.  I cute the banner with my Cricut and Martha Stewart's Cake cartridge.  The paper is  Tinkerbelle vellum that I have had for a while and used some small silver metallic letters for my sentiment.  The butterfly is also a Martha Stewart punch and I added small bling hearts.    I used a Fiskar border punch and punched half inch borders and glued them overlapping each other.  The background borders took some time, but I am pleased with how it turned out.  Lastly, I used "Glossy Accents" on her glass slipper.

I hope you will check out both challenges and play!
