Shiny As A New Penny

The Color Challenge is up and running at The Outlawz.  Laurian chose the color palette this week and she is challenging everyone to add some shine!

I used my Cricute to cut a cute little house out and added some old stickers to decorate the outside.  I used glossy accents on the flags, bird house post and shutters.

This is a fun color palette and challenge and I hope you will be inspired to come and add a crafty project!

Creative Freebie Challenge

Sandi, Anne and I have drawn some cute digis at the CFC.  All you have to do to grab free digis is to sign up at this challenge and request the digis.  To keep receiving them on a bi monthly schedule, you just need to keep creating projects with them!  Easy, peasy.

My card with Anne's gorgeous geraniums.  I used red cardstock, DCWV 6 by 6 paper pack (I cut the bird out of one of the papers) and my Copic markers.  I used Cats Eye Chalk on the paper edges and some little red gems in the corner.

I colored Sandi's cute little leprechaun with Copics and added some gold gems to his gold stash.  The papers are all Creative Memories that I have had for a long while.  I used the CM cutting system to cut my ovals and added flower shaped gems.

I drew the clown fish digi and Sandi and Anne used him this week as a bonus digi.  I used this card for my nephew's birthday on Sunday.  CM papers, Martha black glitter gothic letters, Copic markers, and bubble embellies.  I used a CM corner accent punch on the card corners.

New Challenge at TTCRD

The new challenge for the week just "broke" this morning at Through the Craftroom Door.  It is an "Anything Goes" challenge, that I love!  My image is from Kenny K and she is sassy!  I am having a love relationship with pink hair these days.

I used papers that came in a huge table that I dismantled (as I always do) to put into my way of organizing which is by color.  The OWN IT glitter letters are old Martha's and the embossing folder is by Sizzix.  The ribbon is a tiny tape measure.  I got it at the dump table at Michael's.  I accented the corner with some blingy jewels.  I should probably leave my papers in the tablets that they come in so I can give credit where credit is due!

Hope you can come over and play!

Color Challenge

If it is Tuesday, it must be time for a Color Challenge at The Outlawz.  This week Ursula is challenging us to use a lovely color palette and her "twist" is to ad metal.

I used one of our sponsor's, Dustin Pike's, adorable digis.  I colored him with copics and added a brass buckle that I threaded with organza ribbon.  I cut the big arrow out of sparkly bronze paper with my Cricut and hand lettered the "Upside Down" with a Martha Stewart Glitter pen.  I added three teeny buttons to the top of the arrow.  This is a challenging "challenge" and I hope you will all step up to the plate and knock one out of the park!

Behind!

I am so far behind on everything except remodeling my kitchen and hall bath!  This past weekend is the third weekend I have worked on these projects.  Sanding and restaining the kitchen cabinets was the most time consuming, but I am happy with how they turned out.  I am hoping to buy about three more years before gutting the kitchen.

This week at Guylou's Inimitability Blog challenge, Kim is challenging us to make a project using this Bingo card as a guide. You can choose any lines on the card.

Here is mine:

I added a ribbon and button and Leah digi on the diagonal line.  I cut Leah down to size on my center square.  I just love her pink hair.  I used my CM square punch for my squares and I cut them out of some old CM papers.  They were specialty papers that were 4 by 6 inches.  I have a lot of old CM stuff!  I colored Leah with my Copics.

Guylou has some awesome and fun digis and I hope you will come over and enter something craftilicious!

Guylou's Inimitability Challenge

Off Colored Creation Challenge
Hello crafters!!! We had a lot of people entering our last challenge... thanks everyone!! This week we have a new challenge which I call a true challenge. It will make you think and sweat, but in the end you will have a sense of satisfaction that you lived up to the challenge.

Chana is our challenger this week. She is asking that we use Orange, Gray and Blue and a Humorous Sentiment on our projects. Here is mine!

Ever have one of those days?  My sentiment says, " .....Peachy!  How's your day"?  You really need to come over to Guylou's challenge blog and play along.  This was a fun challenge!  I think the orange, gray and blue look fabulous together.

Another Day, Another Dollar....

Well, this week at work has started out with a stressful bang.  So glad I have crafting as an outlet!  I'm sure a lot of you folks can relate to that

Margaret has come up with a lovely color palette for us this week and she is challenging us to add stitching....faux or real.  As I am sewing machine challenged, mine is faux!  The funny thing is, I have two sewing machines!  I'm always afraid I am going to ruin my card if I attempt to sew on it.  On this card, I used a square doily that I cut in half, some Creative Memory punched hearts, some rub on stitching as well as some hand drawn stitching.  I cut my letters using Cricut's Alphalicious cartridge.  I also added some faux lace that is actually an extremely old Frances Meyer strip sticker!

We thank our wonderful sponsor this month:  Dustin Pike!
Our randomly drawn February winner will receive a $10.00 gift certificate!

Hope everyone can find some crafty time this week and come and create a FAB creation for The Outlawz Color Challenge!

This week at TTCRD there is a fun challenge for all to enter.  It is an "Anything Goes" challenge, so come on over there and enter your project and have an opportunity to win a fun prize!  The DT have some awesome designs to inspire you!
