Good Morning!

Today at The Outlawz our Color Challenge is a beautiful palette selected by Penny.  Her twist is to add dimension.  Think "pop dots".  RoxandRoScrap is sponsoring this month's challenge with a $15.00 gift certificate from 7 Kids College Fund, a wonderful place to shop.

I used my Cricut this week and the "Life's A Beach" cartridge to create my card.  I used the beach chair and cut it twice to add some color.  I also cut a sea shell ad used some embossing on it.  I went rummaging through my papers and found some mulberry paper.  I hadn't used it in forever!  I used an embossing folder on the yellow paper and added the little flip flops that I had.  A little raffia bow in the corner and Voila!  I really should use my Cricut more often.

Come on over and play this week!

This week's "Anything Goes" challenge at TTCRD is up and running.  There are awesome prizes to be won in random drawings, and all you have to do is enter a card!  This week's fabulous sponsor is  Fantastic digis!  I colored up the lovely orchid digi below.

I used my Copic markers and my 'Hello" sentiment was cut with the Creative Memories small oval from the cutting system.  Purple cardstock, LilyBee polka dot paper and my swirly background paper is from my stash.  I added gems on the sentiment oval and upper left corner.
Hope you can find the time to enter the challenge and check out our sponsor's site!

This Week's Challenges

This week The Color Challenge at The Outlaws must truly be a challenge!  We have not received a project from anyone yet.  The color palette is not difficult and the theme is wedding.  Come out, come out where ever you are!

I used A Day For Daisies image and used my Copic Markers.  A Crocheted flower with acrylic flower center, Fiskar border punch, Cricut swirl, little punded flowers, hand cut ribbons on left and CM round cutting system finishes this out.
I used the same papers and some paper flowers with a gem brad.
I am sponsoring our challenge this month with a $15.00 gift certificate from 7 Kids College Fund!
Hope all our friends and regulars will come and join us!

There is an Anything Goes challenge is up this week at Through The Craftroom Door.  The DT, Team B, has some awesome inspiration for you, and as always, the prizes are awesome!

It's Hot in Georgia!

Well, it is always hot in Georgia in the summer and even spring and early fall!  It is hard to even walk to the mail box and not sweat.  Did a lot of work outside this weekend getting ready to have a second garage added for the motorcycles.  No fun!

My sister, Rhonda, one of the "R Girls" sent me two cards yesterday to post here so ya'll could see them.  I love them both.  The first one is an Alabama, Roll Tide!, birthday card and the second one is a cute and summery thank you card.

Rhonda used her Cricut to cut her birthday girl and butterflies.  She used embossing folders on both cards.  I think they look terrific and am proud to share them.
TTCRD Challenge
This week at Through the Craftroom Door the anything goes challenge has been up.  My card is stamped with a Penny Black stamp and colored with Prisma Pencils and odorless mineral spirits that you can buy at Wal-Mart.  The colorful background paper is some old Creative Memories papers.  I have a lot of them and am re-introducing myself to them.  I added a bow to the front of the bunnies flower pot.
Thanks for looking and your lovely comments!
