Ready for Valentine's Day

I can't believe January is almost gone.  It sure went by in a flash!  Sweet Lucy is four month's old now.  Here is her latest photo.

She is a happy little girl.

Our Color Challenge at The Outlawz this week is a vibrant one chosen by Ursula.
The challenge is to pick three of the colors from the palette, say which one's you are
using and add the twist.

I chose the Aqua, Sunshine and Rooster.  A big thanks to Laurian on our team for
making our color blocks each week from our inspiration photos and picking fun
names for them.  My cute digi is from our wonderful sponsor, "Stitchy Bear".  You
really need to check out their website.  I used a Nestabilities die and an embossing
as well as my Copics.  I wove my ribbon in and my metal accents are little golden suns.

At Through the Craftroom Door the "Anything Goes" challenge is up.  You can enter up to two projects there and have the opportunity to win fabulous digis.  Our sponsor at TTCRD this week is Digi Stamps for Joy.  Watch for the new TTRCD MAGAZINE soon to hit the airwaves!  I hear it is fantastic.

Howdy Folks!

This week's Color Challenge at The Outlawz is a bright and fun one.  Penny selected it and Stitchy Bear is our fabulous sponsor this month.  This week Ina, Laurian, Penny and I used a Stitchy Bear digi.  I encourage you to visit their store as they have some fantastic digis for your coloring enjoyment.

The "Twist" is to make a birthday card.

I colored my Stitchy Bear Cake with Copic Markers R85, R83 and RV11.  The purples are BV11, BV13 and BV17 and the green is G21 and G24.  I used Y17 for the flower centers and candle flames.
The papers are cardstock and the pearls are unknown.  Hope you will join us!

At TTCRD the new "Anything Goes" Challenge is starting today.  There are marvelous prizes to be won and you can enter two projects.  The wonderful sponsor this week is:

TTRCD Challenge and Color Challenge

Good evening friends!  The weekly challenges are up at TTRCD and The Outlawz Color Challenge.  TTRCD is an "Anything Goes" challenge.  You can enter two projects in the challenge and a winner will be chosen by Random.Org at the end of the challenge.  If you would like to be a guest designer, contact Sandi Huggett through TTRCD.  The sponsor this week is Eureka Stamps.  You need to check out their website for some awesome images.

My Card

I used their Birthday Cake digi.  I colored the frosting with Copics BV01, BV04, and BV11.  I paper pieced the center of the cake with a bit of the border paper.  The candles were colored with R83, R85 and RV11.  The flame is Y17 and YR09.  It doesn't show up in the photo but I used some Glossy Accents on the flames.  I have had the papers for a while and they are from an old paper palette by Creative Memories. I stitched on the right side with purple and white Baker's Twine and used an EK Success border punch across the bottom.  The sentiment is hand written and I added two pearls and some Martha Stewart purple chalk on the edges.

Don't forget the TTRCD Magazine!  Colleen is putting it together as we craft!  There are always so many free digis included that they pay for your subscription.  There is a lot of inspiration in there to spark your creativity!

Our Color Challenge this week is by Laurian.  She chose Glorious Pink as her color and you get to pick two from the inspiration photo to go with it along with your own twist!  Just be sure to state what colors you choose and what your twist is.

I used Glorious Pink, White and Tan.  My twist is to use jute.
Supplies used on my card:
EK Success Border Punch
Creative memories Heart Punches
Mini Butterfly punch
Stitchy Bear Digi Ladybug

Thank you for adhering to the rules!  :)

The "Color Challenge" is up at "The Outlawz".  I got to choose the palette and twist this week and I couldn't resist this red cardinal.

Your Twist this week is to add buttons.

I paper pieced my ladybug and her head is two buttons with curled wire deely-bobbers.  I used an EK Success border punch, gingham ribbon and papers from my stash.  The ladybug paper is from Michael's individual sheets section.  I also used Spellbinders Nestabilities die cut in the center.

Color Challenge is so excited to have a fabulous sponsor for the month of January.
Please visit their site!  They have some adorable digis!
This week,  Laurian, Ina, Penny and Lindsay have used digis from StitchyBear.

I hope you can find the time to visit both sites and enter the challenges!

The Last Christmas Card For A While......

The TTCRD Challenge is in full swing!  Our sponsor this week, "NiceCrane Designs" provided us with some lovely images to make our inspiration cards.  I hope you will come over and check our the challenge and hopefully enter!  As always there are awesome prizes to be won and fun crafters to meet.

I used some red sparkly specialty paper I got at Michael's for my background of the card.  The silver ribbed cardstock is from a 4 by 6 metallic paper pad from JoAnn's and the ribbon is by "Celebrate it" that I picked up in the Christmas aisle.  My Christmas sentiment is from a Bo Bunny sticker sheet of Christmas sentiments and I colored Santa and the kids with my copics.
If you are interested in becoming a guest designer at TTCRD, contact Sandi Huggett at TTCRD.
At The Outlawz Color Challenge this week, Penny chose the gorgeous inspiration photo and color palette.  She is challenging us to add a snowflake, or two, or three.....

The colors are Cool Winter Blue, Gentle Purple and Softest White.
My center snowflake is from Jolee's that I got on sale at Michael's, the
border punch is EK Success, also on sale.  I used the little negative
snowflakes to border the large one and put a "dot" in the center of each
with Perfect Pearls.  The purple, white and blue papers are from my stash,
and I have had the vellum sentiments for years.  I ran them through my
sticker maker Xyron to keep adhesive from showing.
