Good morning my friends! The new Spring Issue of Through The Craftroom door is available! It is marvelous, as always, and full of tutorials and inspiration to spark your imagination. The free digis are worth the year's subscription rate.  Check out the video in my sidebar.

This week's challenge is also up.  Come on over a play!  No experience necessary and all the fantastic sponsors have provided some awesome prizes that are given by random drawings.

I have been using my Cricut a lot this month.  It has been sorely neglected!
This is for my grandson, Dean who turned 5 this month!  I used Jolly Red,
Jungle Green, Digger Yellow, Deep Denim, and the Clean White.
OK, so I used them ALL!  My little monster is holding his flower balloon

OOOPS!

Forgot to post the Color Challenge Palette!  I seem to be having a lot of senior moments lately.

Roll Tide and other things

Today's "Anything Goes" challenge at Through The Craftroom Door is up for your fun!  Today, I have used an adorable Cheerleader digi from the Paper Shelter.  I just love their art!  They have the cutest images and they are fun to color up.  My husband and I are huge Alabama fans so I just had to use their colors and the houndstooth paper I found at Michael's in there rack.  You will have to wait until the TTCRD magazine comes out to see how I put her together, but I think she is pretty cute!  Be watching for the magazine which will come out shortly.  If you don't have a subscription, your are missing out on great tutorials and free digis!

At our Color Challenge at The Outlawz, the ladies have worked their magic to bring you some great inspiration cards to spark you imagination.  Ursula selected our inspiration photos and colors and Laurian brought them to life.  My card is made using one of Anne Fenton's digis.  She is our wonderful sponsor for this month and your can score six of her digis in a random drawing at the end of the month.  You just have to submit a project this week to be eligible to go into the drawing.

I used her little Native American Girl and colored her up using my Copic Markers that I always get at OOZAK.  I used the Southwest Cricut Cartridge to my background and the Thunderbirds below.  I used two different tiny flower thumb punches I scored at Michaels on a dump rack for $1.00 each.  I used brown and lavender cardsto as well as some sea foam green cardstock.  I put my fiber under two small brown gems from Reminisce and I did not use a sentiment because I am waiting to see what occasion I will use this card.

I would love to see all my friends come on over and play at these two sites this week.  We have awesome prizes up for grabs!

Garden Ladder

This week at The Outlawz our challenge is to pick two colors from the inspiration photo and use them on your project along with the "one" color that Penny selected.  Her selection this week is white.  I used coral and green on my card.  Our sponsor, Anne's Digital Art, provided us with gorgeous images to use and I chose her garden ladder.  My twist is to add pearls.

I used a Sizzix embossing folder that I felt looked "garden-ee", my copic markers, leafy sticker border, and I inverted the heart border from Martha Stewart.  The small border in coral and white is also from the same sticker sheet as the leaves, and I have had it for years.

Nolan and the Bullfrog and Peace Sign

Good morning friends!  This week at TTCRD and The Outlawz there are two fun challenges up for you to join and have fun with!  When I saw our sponsor at TTCRD, Fred She Said's, little Nolan and the Bullfrog I had to color him up!  He reminds me of my grandson Dean when he was three.  He will be five on the 18th and I can't believe where the time has gone.

I used a piece of denim jeans paper I have had for quite some time, and a piece of denim PP I got at Michael's off the rack.  Of course I used Copic markers to color up little Nolan and my sentiment is a stamp from Ippity.  I tied a piece of packaging twine and secured it with tiny Zots glue dots.

The Outlawz Color Challenge has beautiful spring colors that I got to pick.  I found this lovely photo at Pinterest with all the fabulous and colorful flowers and couldn't resist using it.  My twist is to use flowers on your project.  My card is from Anne Fenton's new collection that you could win this month if you enter the challenge.  Your cards each week with go into our drawing.

The young lady kinda reminds me of moi back in the late sixties so I couldn't resist going with a "hippie chick" theme.  The font and peace sign are from a Cricut cartridge that had 50's and 60's that I used over at my sister's craftroom and I apologize for not remembering the name of it!  I made an easel card and placed my flowers that I cut from with a small thumb punch.  The flower centers are small blue gems.

I hope you will join us at both challenges and get "froggy" with your "groove" on!
